A man from Essa Township is facing weapons charges after an investigation by Nottawasaga OPP.
Police arrested the man after executing a search warrant in the township in the area of 10th Line.
The 38-year-old is charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, and failure to comply.

He’s been held pending a bail hearing.
