Hanover Police are looking for information in relation to two day time break-ins.
Police say, at about 11:40 Wednesday morning (Oct. 3), officers responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence on 9th Avenue near 13th street in Hanover.
Police say the homeowner was there at the time and startled two male suspects as they allegedly searched for valuables.
They fled on foot in a westerly direction through backyards.
Police also responded to a break-in on Second Street South in the south-end subdivision and say their investigation determined a break-in had happened at about 10:30 that morning involving the same two male suspects.
Hanover officers are working with police from other jurisdictions who are also actively investigating these two suspects for similar daytime residential break-ins elsewhere in Ontario.
The suspects are believed to be Eastern European descent and are working with others who remain outside the homes while the break and enters occur.
Police are asking Hanover residents to check their surveillance videos within several blocks of these areas for the morning of October 4th in an attempt to identify these suspects or their vehicle.
