The annual Bob Atkinson Memorial Cross Country Meet will be staged Wednesday at Saugeen Bluffs near Paisley.
The meet is for student-athletes in Bluewater West Elementary schools.
Neil Gowan of Huron Heights Public School in Kincardine is the Meet Convenor
Gowan spoke to Fred Wallace and offered an outline of the annual competition.
The meet is named in honor of Bob Atkinson, a Canadian World War veteran from Paisley who was a longtime supporter of the event which began in the mid 1970s.
