Caledon OPP is focusing on traffic and pedestrian safety this fall, as well as enforcing municipal by-laws.
With the fall colours, there’s an increase in vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Police are advising everyone to follow posted speed limits, make sure that everyone in your vehicle is buckled up safely, and be aware of pedestrians.
They’re also offering safety tips including not taking pictures while driving, staying focused on the road, and never driving while impaired.
If you’re visiting the Cheltenham Badlands, which re-opened in 2018 with a new fully accessible platform, the only parking option is in the designated parking area east of the location on Olde Base Line Road.
