The Owen Sound Attack announced a minor roster move ahead of the team’s regular season opener.
The team has released 18-year-old forward Thomas Chafe. A statement from the Attack says he’s cleared waivers and is expected to join a Quebec Major Junior Hockey League club.
Chafe recorded 29 points –10 goals 19 assists — in 124 games over two seasons in Owen Sound. He was selected by the Attack in the third round, 47th overall, in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection.
