Suspects linked to shoplifting case in Wingham September 9, 2023.
Huron OPP are investigating a shoplifting case in Wingham linked to similar thefts around Ontario.
Police say they were called about a pair of shoplifters at a business on Josephine Street, where two men loaded a cart with $2 thousand in merchandise before leaving without paying.
The suspects are described as:
- Suspect #1: Male, age in 40’s, bald, dark skin, wearing a t-shirt and jeans,
- Suspect #2: Male, age in 40’s, heavier set build, wearing a hat and face mask, a t-shirt, and jeans.
It is believed the suspects used an older model Mercedes, either beige or light grey in colour.
Police believe the suspects have stolen goods from retailers in Barrie, Meaford, Saugeen Shores, Bracebridge, Walkerton, and Wingham.
