OPP are investigating, after a teenager was robbed during a paper route in Wingham.
According to reports, a 13 year old was cycling along Victoria Street near Helena Street when three suspects exited a trail and pulled the victims backpack off his back.
Police say the backpack full of newspapers, and was thrown over the bridge into the river by the suspects.
The teenager was able to escape on his bicycle with minor injuries, OPP say.
The three suspects, believed to be between the ages of 18-27 years are described as follows:
- #1: Male, wearing a grey shirt and blue pants.
- #2: Male, wearing a red shirt and black pants.
- #3: Male, wearing a black shirt.
Police are asking for the public’s assistance should they have any knowledge of this incident or suspects.
