A man has been arrested in Dundalk after an incident resulted in the OPP tactics and rescue unit being called in.
Grey Bruce OPP say officers were called to a report of an assault just prior to 10 p.m. Sunday night, and an involved individual refused to leave the Victoria Street residence.
Police say the OPP west region tactics and rescue unit and the emergency response came to the scene to assist with the “barricaded person incident.”
The male was arrested sometime earlier this morning.
Provincial Police have not identified the accused or disclosed the charges he faces.
Victoria Street in Dundalk was closed for the investigation, but has since re-opened.
OPP say they won’t be releasing any more information about the investigation at this time.
