Newcomers to Canada are being treated to a special event in Huron County.
The county’s Immigration Partnership is inviting new Canadians and their supporters to spend a day at Camp Klahanie on August 19th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m..
Some of the camp-themed activities planned include a scavenger hunt, nature hike, yoga, soccer, volleyball, cricket, and more.
Free barbecue will also be provided, along with an evening bonfire, and musical entertainment throughout the day.
The event is hosted by The Goderich Lions, the YMCA of Southwestern Ontario, and the Huron County Local Immigration Partnership, with support from Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.
