Provincial Police are putting out a call for tips after some sports medals and memorabilia were stolen from a home in Chatsworth.
Grey Bruce OPP say the theft was reported in early July. More than a dozen competitive gymnastics medals from the 1980s and early 1990s were nabbed, as well as other sports memorabilia including national Olympics team clothing and uniforms.
“If you see any these items being sold on any local buy and sell groups, Kijiji or any other online store, please call the OPP,” says Grey Bruce OPP Const. Krista Linthorne.
Police did not disclose significant additional details about the theft investigation.
Anyone with information to assist is being asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
