Owen Sound teenager Jesse Walker completed his 4th fundraising event Saturday July 29th when he did a personal triathlon.
For the last 4 years, Walker has participated in a distance run or triathlon in order to raise money for childhood cancer research.
A cancer survivor as a young teen, Walker was motivated to conduct these events to raise funds and he provided a recap of his triathlon during a visit with The Great Paul Hill on the 560 CFOS Morning Show.
Dating back to 2020, Walker has done 2 half-marathons, a full marathon and most recently a triathlon.
Through the generosity of many in the community, the 4 events have managed to generate $ 100,000 in funds raised for childhood cancer research.
