The South Bruce Grey Health Centre (SBGHC) is temporarily closing the emergency departments at the Durham and Walkerton hospitals this weekend.
The SBGHC says as a result of insufficient staffing, the Durham emergency department will be closed July 28 at 5 p.m. and will reopen July 31 at 7 a.m. The Walkerton emergency department will be closed July 30 at 5 p.m. and reopen July 31 at 7 a.m.
Ambulances will divert patients to the nearest emergency department.
