OSL Update
Ontario Series Lacrosse held a meeting last night to determine the final standings and playoff matchups
The issue centers around the Owen Sound Bug Juice Senior NorthStars and the weekend of July 8th & 9th
Owen Sound won games that weekend over both Brooklin & Clearview but dressed a player who was deemed ineligible.
Brooklin successfully protested and was awarded the victory allowing them to leapfrog Owen Sound into 2nd place
Clearview had no intention of protesting their defeat, but if Owen Sound was stripped of their victory in that game, the NorthStars would fall to 4th behind Six Nations.
This morning it remains unclear whether Owen Sound will face Oakville or Brooklin in the opening round of the playoffs which are scheduled to start on Friday.
