Wellington County OPP have laid charges in relation to several suspicious fires.
A 21-year-old from Mount Forest is charged with three counts of arson for both property damage and a disregard for human life in connection to the fires.
On June 4th, OPP responded to a call about a structure fire on Sligo Road West, and a shed and vehicle fire on Cork Street. There was also a report of a yard waste bag near another residence as well.
The accused has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The fires, which happened in the early morning hours, were responded to by about 60 firefighters, including some from West Grey and Southgate.
