Huron County Council has approved the tender for upgrades to the Blyth Intersection.
The intersection is at County Road 4 and County Road 25.
Lavis Contracting Co. Ltd. will complete the upgrades at a cost of $2,431,582.
The work will have the intersection become fully signalized with pedestrian crossing facilities.
The project also includes other work involving storm sewer replacements and the construction of sidewalks from County Road 4 to Gypsy Lane on the north side of County Road 25.
