The 42nd annual Ramoca Shriners Club Golf Tournament is set for Friday at Legacy Ridge Golf Club.
The tournament is part of the fundraising the Shriners do on a regular basis dedicated to the support of the Shriners Hospitals where children under the age of 18 receive specialized medical care free of charge.
Robins says the bulk of the funds generated are to reduce the transportation and accommodation costs for youngsters and their families who are facing specialized medical care.
He notes, currently there are four youngsters in our region who are in need of the service and medical care
Jeff Robins was a guest with The Great Paul Hill on the 560 CFOS Morning Show and offered a preview of the golf event.
The financial target for the day is to raise $ 50,000.
