Huron County Council has approved an agreement that would enable the county’s Emergency Services department in their harm reduction efforts.
Council approved the agreement with Huron Perth Public Health to allow Huron County’s Paramedic Services to distribute Naloxone kits to vulnerable individuals.
Providing Naloxone is one strategy in the community to help prevent death at other adverse health effects due to the misuse of opioids.
