Three people have been charged by Southern Georgian Bay OPP after a stolen car was involved in a collision on Friday.
Just before 2 o’clock that afternoon, OPP officers were called to a shopping centre on Highway 12 in Midland.
Officers learned that the involved vehicle had been reported stolen the day before.
When police arrived, the vehicle fled the scene, but a short time later was located in a ditch on Highway 12 near Sumac Lane.
The three people in the vehicle fled on foot into a wooded area, but officers were able to arrest two of them.
The third person was found at a residence on Queen Street near Yonge Street and was taken into custody at 7 o’clock that evening.
