Southern Georgian Bay OPP have charged a driver who was involved in a single-vehicle collision.
The crash happened just before 8 o’clock on Friday morning on Balm Beach Road near Albert Street in Tiny Township.
While police and emergency crews were assisting the driver, he was found not to be injured, but officers found he was under the influence of drugs.
The 36-year-old man from Clearview Township was then placed under arrest and charged with operation while impaired by either alcohol or drugs, driving while prohibited, and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
His licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle he was operating was impounded for 7 days.
