Saugeen Shores Police have charged one person after a call regarding a stolen vehicle from Lamont Sports Park on Wednesday evening.
Police were informed that an intoxicated woman had taken the car without permission.
At around 10:30 that evening, an off-duty officer saw a vehicle circling a neighbourhood with no taillights and determined it was the missing vehicle.
The driver was placed under arrest, as it was found she was under the influence of alcohol.
During her arrest, she punched an officer in the face, and once transported to the police station, she allegedly assaulted two more officers.
The 32-year-old Bruce County woman was charged with three counts of assaulting a peace officer as well as operation while impaired and later released with a court date.
