OPP is investigating after a body was discovered in a wooded area of Orillia.
Last evening, just after 8 pm, police responded to an area on West Street South for a report of an unresponsive male.
The 40-year-old who hasn’t been identified was pronounced dead at the scene and the coroner’s office is now aiding the investigation.
The cause of death is to be determined pending a post-mortem.
Investigators don’t believe there is a threat to public safety.
