The Toronto Outboard Racing Club is busy preparing for its annual Muskoka Powerboat Races taking place June 24th and 25th.
The event will happen between 10 am and 5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
Gull Lake Park in Gravenhurst will once again attract crowds of adrenaline seekers to the area to watch over 100 racers from across the country compete for first place in their racing classes.
“With the reputation for one of the toughest North American courses, there is a guarantee for the best competitors in the nation to attend to test their talents,” says Jim Hunter, event coordinator.
Three different types of boats will compete during the weekend-long event. They include hydroplanes, runabouts, and T-boats. Spectators will be entertained and admission is by donation.
“This is the biggest and most established outboard race in Canada. We are thrilled to be back in Gravenhurst racing at this historic location,” says Hunter.
