
Orillia OPP have charged two people following an early morning investigation that led to the seizure of almost $25,000 worth of drugs.
Police conducted a warrant-based entry at a home in Orillia just after 5 o’clock Friday morning.
Following their search, they found cocaine packaging, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, and methamphetamine, as well as cash, a digital scale, a vacuum sealer, and multiple cell phones.
A 31-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both from Orillia, are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, and the possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
They’re expected in court on July 11th.
