An open-air fire ban has been issued for Huron County.
The declaration from the Huron County Fire Chiefs follows days of hot, dry conditions throughout much of Ontario.
Campfires are permitted from 12:00pm until 12:00am only, but all fires must be completely extinguished after midnight and must follow municipal by-laws.
No burn permits will be issued until the ban is lifted.
