Celebrated authors will be in Huron County to celebrate the area’s Nobel laureate for the 21st year.
The Alice Munro Festival of the Short Story kicks off Friday, offering workshops and onstage presentations as well as the annual short story competition.
Among the authors presenting this year are:
- Alissa York – “Far Cry”
- Anuja Varghese – “Chrysalis”
- Bianca Marais – “The Witches of Moonshyne Manor”
- Carley Fortune – “Meet Me at the Lake”
- Corinna Chong – “The Whole Animal”
- Emily Urquhart – “Ordinary Wonder Tales”
- Farah Heron – “Jana Goes Wild”
- January Rogers – “Ego of a Nation”
- Jennifer Robson – “Coronation Year”
- Samra Habib – “We Have Always Been Here”
- S.K. Ali – “Love from Mecca to Medina”
The three day festival runs June 2nd to 4th throughout Blyth, Wingham, and Bayfield.
