South Bruce OPP are investigating a fatal collision that happened this afternoon in Carrick Township.
At around 12:30 this afternoon, police were called to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 9, along with members of South Bruce Fire Rescue and Bruce County Emergency Services.
OPP say that one driver was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the other driver did not suffer any apparent physical injuries.
South Bruce OPP are continuing its investigation with the help of the Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team, as well as the Coroner’s Office.
Highway 9 remains closed between Concession 10 and Concession 14 in Carrick Township.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and respect the closure.
