The Municipality of Meaford is partnering with the YMCA to manage the Blue Dolphin Pool for 2023.
The municipality says it recognizes the importance of the pool during the summer season.
In their partnership with the YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce, the Y’s aquatics team is busy developing the pool schedule for things like swimming lessons, public swim times, and other aquatic programs.
Meaford is also reminding everyone that qualified residents will be able to apply for a recreation subsidy for access to swimming lessons and public swim availability through the Meaford Recreation Subsidy Program and the Grey County Social Initiatives Fund.
The YMCA also says that anyone interested in becoming a lifeguard can apply for the Jumpstart Grand Provision to get funding for training and certification.
