Goderich Council has received correspondence from Huron County Pride to recognize June as Pride Month and to fly the Pride flag.
Councillor Allison Segeren gave her support to doing so, as she addressed the rest of the council
Segeren also said that in celebrating Pride and by being a welcoming community, it fit with the Strategic Plan goal of helping those who move to the community feel safe.
