The Town of The Blue Mountains is moving ahead on developing a Campus Of Care project near Thornbury.
The municipality has signed a letter of intent to sell part of a property it owns on Peel Street to Skyline Developments.
Another company, Peoplecare, is also involved in the sale.
The plan is to build a long-term care facility with 160 beds, a retirement home, as well as 300 market-rent units, a day care, and affordable housing for workers.
Preliminary designs shown to council include a mix of three and five story buildings, as well as parkland and a playground.
