Owen Sound police have arrested a man in connection to a stabbing on the city’s east side.
Just before 9 this morning police arrested a man in the area of 2nd Ave. E. and 6th St Owen Sound.
Blaine McEachern, a 34 year old man of no fixed address, has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He will appear in court for a bail hearing today.
The stabbing occurred Sunday evening on the city’s east side prompting a large police presence Monday in the area of 19th St East and 6th Avenue East.
Police say there are no other suspects outstanding.
They say the victim remains in the hospital in stable condition in the ICU.
