Caledon OPP are investigating a collision that claimed the lives of two people on Highway 9.
Just after 9 p.m. the evening of May 11th, emergency crews responded to a three-vehicle collision on Highway 9 that involved two motorcycles and a pickup truck.
One driver, a 51-year-old man from Shelburne, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Another driver, a 52-year-old woman from Orangeville, was airlifted to a Toronto-area trauma centre but later succumbed to her injuries.
Highway 9 between Mount Wolfe Road and the Caledon/King Townline had to be closed for several hours for police to investigate but has since re-opened.
