Bruce County’s Transportation and Environmental Services department is getting ready to complete its spring and summer maintenance projects.
The team is going to be doing road construction, culvert replacement, roadside mowing, and line painting over the next month.
The line painting work will be done when weather conditions are appropriate and can take place during mid-day, evening, or overnight hours, as it has to be when the temperature is right and there isn’t excess moisture on the road.
The County says they’ll be doing line painting from mid-May to mid-June, and they’re advising all drivers to be mindful of warning signs and vehicles.
The County also warns that they will not assume responsibility for paint damage to personal vehicles for anyone who drives over wet paint.
