A Windsor man’s been fined $10,000 after another member of his hunting party was shot accidentally.
It happened at the Griffith Island Hunt Club in Georgian Bay on September 28th, 2022.
The accused pleaded guilty to careless use of a firearm while hunting on April 14th in Parry Sound court.
He had his hunting license suspended for 5 years and is also required to take a hunter education course.
The injured hunter was hit in the lower half of his body and was taken to hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
