The 2023 McHappy Day at McDonald’s Restaurants across Canada was staged on Wednesday.
The one day campaign serves as a major fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House which provides accommodation and more to families with sick children who need care away from home
Midway through McHappy Day, Fred Wallace was at the McDonald’s on the west side of Owen Sound and spoke to franchise owner Steve Sgro who operates two McDonald’s locations in Owen Sound along with outlets in Port Elgin & Meaford.

The unofficial tally from McHappy Day in Owen Sound, Meaford and Port Elgin was listed at $ 25,300.
