Collingwood Council has passed a climate change action plan.
At a meeting Monday, councillors adopted the Greener Collingwood Corporate Climate Change Action Plan which sets out a clear vision and attainable goals to reduce Collingwood’s carbon footprint. The blueprint outlines how the town can reduce greenhouse gas emissions in its own operations, and also encourages businesses and citizens to do the same.
