With Earth Day approaching, a conservation group is looking for volunteers to make Goderich’s environment cleaner.
The Lake Huron Coastal Centre is hosting a beach clean-up Saturday, coinciding with International Earth Day.
200 pounds of litter was cleaned from the Goderich shoreline in 2022, with 133 volunteers taking part.
This weekend’s clean-up will be followed by a barbecue for volunteers.
It runs 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at St. Christopher’s Beach, in Goderich.
