Southern Georgian Bay OPP have so far nabbed four impaired drivers heading into this weekend.
Police say that they’re hoping that drivers make better choices.
At around 12:30 Thursday morning, a sergeant was investigating an impaired driver on Highway 400 when he noticed another driver interfering with others on the road and eventually pulled the driver over on Highway 12 at Sandhill Road.
The 35-year-old driver from Georgian Bay Township was charged with impaired driving.
At around 3 o’clock Thursday afternoon, in Midland, a 56-year-old woman from Penetanguishene was pulled over and charged with impaired driving.
Two other drivers, one from Scarborough and another from Toronto have also been charged.
All four drivers have had their licences suspended for 90 days, and each will appear in court within the next 30 days.
