The Bruce County Public Library will be hosting clinics to help people file their taxes.
This free Community Volunteer Income Tax Program will be available at the Port Elgin, Kincardine, Chesley, and Walkerton branches by appointment until the end of April.
The library says this program helped complete over 200 tax returns last year.
The clinics are available to anyone who meets the eligibility criteria and has a simple tax situation. The volunteers can complete taxes for the current and previous years.
Library Director Brooke McLean says, “we are extremely grateful for the volunteers that come forward to help Bruce County Public Library bring this program to our patrons and the residents of Bruce County.”
Those looking to make an appointment by phone, email or in person can contact the branch they wish to attend.
