A workforce survey finds nearly 80 per cent of workers in the Avon Maitland District School Board are women.
Workers were invited to take part in a voluntary workplace census in the Fall of 2022, which achieved 75 per cent participation.
79.4 per cent of respondents identified as female, with 17.6 per cent identifying as male, and less than 1 per cent non-binary.
Of those who participated, 26 per cent (469 people) considered themselves a person with a mental health disability or condition.
4.1 per cent of AMDSB workers indicated a minority sexual orientation.
