Groh Construction is happy to announce they are the most recent partner to join the Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Business Cares Program.
Their donation is an investment in our community which will help improve healthcare for all residents.
Groh Construction, owned by brothers Trevor & Steven Groh, is a full-service home construction company specializing in cottages, garages, boathouses, and interior finishing. Their service area is throughout Muskoka, including Huntsville, Lake of Bays, Port Carling, Lake Muskoka, lake Rosseau and Bracebridge.
Trevor Groh told the Foundation: “Groh Construction has been happy to help the hospital foundation build its new addition; it allows the team to give back in the way they know best; through quality construction. The Huntsville hospital is an important part of this community and means so much to the team at Groh Construction each in unique ways. It’s an employer of family members, auxiliary members, it’s where the employees’ babies have been born and the Doctors and Nurses have cared for sick team members as well as family members in times of need. Groh construction will continue to support the Huntsville Hospital in providing exceptional care for locals and cottagers alike.”
Katherine Craine explained: “We applaud Groh Construction for committing to the Business Cares program and for donating their time and talents to build an addition to our Foundation office “the Bunkie”. As we grow to meet the demands of funding the Focus on Imaging campaign and our future hospital, we require additional space for our growing team. We truly appreciate the good will and kindness of all our donors as we look into the future!” “Thank you, Trevor and Steven, for your amazing leadership and support of our community and our hospital!”
Huntsville Hospital Foundation in partnership with their Business Cares Committee officially launched their new “Business Cares” initiative in January 2016 with the goal of enrolling forty businesses in the community. They are very happy to report that they have surpassed their goal. Their plan is to continue with this successful imitative, as they have many businesses expressing interest in joining the Business Cares community. Since its inception, over fifty local businesses have committed to donating $25,000 or more over the next five years for Healthcare for life, here.
Pat Dubé Committee Chair, is joined by Committee Members Chantelle Armstrong, Katherine Craine, Mike Harrower and Trish Kruusmagi who are very active in pursuing new Business Cares Partners, and exploring more, much needed support for Huntsville Hospital.
Pat Dubé sends this message: “The ability of a community to invest in its own health and future for our neighbours, our families and everyone who visits here is evident in the support of local business leaders. I’m sure you share my profound gratitude to them all. We’re great when we work together – that’s Business Cares.”
