The circus is coming to Owen Sound.
The Great Benjamins Circus is setting up its tent at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre and is running from March 23-26.
Director of Marketing Nate Valentin says this third generation traditional circus is designed around providing a family friendly event where people can enjoy 90 minutes of action packed excitement.
He says the show includes everything from aerial acts, motorcyclists and jugglers and clowns.
“We do offer some close seating where we have up to 80 participants right at ring side, so right there in the action we try to bring a few fans up and include them in some of our acts so we can make those memories with the kids,” says Valentin.
Valentin adds while this is not their first time in the area, they are extending their stay.
“Last time we were here was last April, we were only here for two days. This time we will be here for four days and we are excited to actually kick off our season here with the folks in Owen Sound,” says Valentin.
