It’s playoff time in Bear Country. Last weekend the Owen Sound Attack clinched our 12th consecutive trip to the Ontario Hockey League playoffs and tickets for home games 1 and 2 of our Western Conference Quarter Final series go on sale on Monday, March 20th at 9am. There is still much to be decided in the standings and as a result we do not have an official series schedule or opponent yet. These details will be shared as soon as they are available.
With 10 days left in the regular season, a very tight race for positioning is complicating the Attacks playoff picture. The bears have 6 games remaining and currently sit tied for 6th place, just two points back of the Flint Firebirds for 5th and three points up on Kitchener who currently hold the 8th position. The top three positions in the Western Conference are also very tight with 6 points separating Windsor, London and Sarnia. This sets up our likely opponents to be Windsor, London, Sarnia or Saginaw with our first two home games likely falling somewhere between April 2 and 5.
Reminder, Season Ticket Members have until two business days (Monday to Friday) before a scheduled playoff game to claim their seats or they are released to the public. This can be done in person, over the phone or online through the online ticketing account under the subscription tab. Leased suite holder tickets will be charged to the credit card on file and put in your accounts at the above deadline unless other arrangements or payment have been made.
