One person has died and several people were injured in a collision that happened Saturday morning.
At around 10 o’clock yesterday morning, Nottawasaga OPP were called to the scene of a collision on Highway 89, west of Veteran’s Drive, involving an SUV and a sedan.
A 70-year-old woman from Alliston, who was a passenger in one of the vehicles was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle, along with a child in the vehicle was transported to Toronto.
The driver of the other vehicle, along with two children, were taken to local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The road had to be closed for several hours as members of the Nottawasaga OPP investigated the scene.
