Owen Sound Police say a man is facing charges following the theft of tools from a construction site.
Police say on March 17 around 1 p.m., the suspect attended a construction site on the west side of the city, where he proceeded to steal a large quantity of tools valued around $10,000.
Police add at the time of the theft, the tools were being kept in an unlocked work van at the site.
Police say the theft was discovered a short time later, and an investigation led police to an apartment building in close proximity to the scene of the theft.
Police add they arrested the 32-year-old accused and charged him with theft over $5,000 and possession of property obtained by crime.
The accused is set to appear in court in April.
