Alliston’s hospital recently received a large donation.
The Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation has received $10,000 through the AlectraCARES Community Support Program.
The donation will go towards buying a Patient Controlled Analgesia (PCA) pump for the hospital.
The pump allows patients to control their medicine delivery by pushing a button as long as its within prescribed limits from a doctor.
Brian Bentz, President and CEO of Alectra says he’s proud to continue supporting the Foundation as they improve the health care system.
He added that the program is centred around improving the quality of life in the communities Alectra serves.
Alectra has donated $47,000 to the Stevenson Memorial Hospital since 2017.
