Owen Sound’s first ” Youth Climate Action Conference ” is scheduled for Thursday March 2nd at The Harmony Centre
The goal of the session is to engage youngsters in climate action and strengthen municipal climate strategies
Hilary Coburn, a teacher at Georgian Bay Community School and a member of the Climate Action Team Owen Sound was a guest with The Great Paul Hill on the 560 CFOS Morning Show.
On Thursday, 50 students in Grade 6-8 will be attending Owen Sound’s first Youth Climate Action Conference.
Students will be inspired and empowered to create their own Community Climate Action Projects during the afternoon workshops at the event.
