Matyas Sapovaliv would score twice for Saginaw as the Spirit beat the Owen Sound Attack 3-2 last night at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre for Hockey for Hospice.
For the Spirit, that is three straight wins and allows them to move four points up on Owen Sound for fourth in the Western Conference.
Cedrick Guindon and Kaleb Lawrence would score 37 seconds apart in the second period, but that was all that Owen Sound would get as they lose their third game in a row.
Next action for the Attack is Monday afternoon in Guelph to face the Knights.
