OPP have laid charges in relation to a fatal single-vehicle collision that took place last week in The Blue Mountains.
On January 26th a grey-colored Mitsubishi Outlander SUV was traveling northbound on Arrowhead Road, just south of Highway 26 when it left the roadway.
It continued down an embankment, came to a stop, and caught fire. A deceased Collingwood resident, 40-year-old Ashley Schwalm was found inside the vehicle.
A 38-year-old Collingwood resident, James Schwalm has now been charged with Second Degree Murder and Indignity to a Dead Body.
The accused was held for a bail hearing today.
