A West Grey woman has been charged after a collision between a vehicle and a cyclist.
Wellington County OPP say the collisions happened on October 11th, 2022 at approximately 8:30 a.m.
OPP, Guelph Wellington Paramedic Services and local fire departments responded to a report of an injured cyclist on Wellington Road 2 at Regency Drive, in Minto Township (between Clifford and Mount Forest).
OPP say their investigation determined the cyclist had been struck by a vehicle which did not remain at the scene of the collision.
The cyclist, a 21-year-old from Clifford was transported to a trauma centre by Air Ornge with serious injuries.
OPP have now charged a 28 year old West Grey woman with Fail to Stop at Accident Resulting in Bodily Harm contrary to the Criminal Code and with Careless Driving Cause Bodily Harm, Fail to Report Accident, and Fail to Remain contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
