Longtime Gravenhurst Councillor Terry Pilger has passed away.
His wife Wendy made the announcement on her FB page today (Jan 24th) and asked for people to respect the family’s privacy at this time.
In an update, she said the family has been advised he suffered a massive heart attack this morning after a brief bout of the flu.
A real estate agent, Terry Pilger had recently run for the office of mayor in Gravenhurst and also ran recently to be the next District Chair.
He had 26 years of municipal experience.
